Oil-Rite is a U.S. manufacturer of lubrication equipment known for being rugged, reliable and simple to operate. Applications include fluid storage, monitoring of fluid levels, liquid flow control, and manual and automated dispensing of oil and grease.
what we did
We helped this client in establishing an online presence. We’ve created a product catalog that showcases our client’s manufacturing capabilities. With that, we also significantly improved the amount of content on the website which instantly resulted in better SEO.
Problem
This manufacturing client came to us for help in simplifying their extensive online product library. The parts contained thousands of variations, and each variation had its own designated page.
The user-facing interface was very disorganized. There were no options to sort or filter the items, and seemingly endless pages to sift through. This made navigation and finding the correct parts very challenging for users.
Solution
The new site is equipped with an intuitive product interface with simplified product pages. Doing this required us to import the existing products along with each of their variations. Our team was able to consolidate the number of products by assigning the different options as categories.
Once the products were simplified, we implemented a filtering system for users to easily find and compare parts. Finally, we set up a quote request feature for potential customers.
